S28 - Maintain Party – Organization – Party Name History

 

Purposes:

 

This screen allows the MIMS user to view an organization party name history.

 

Prerequisites:

 

1.       MIMS user must have applicable security authorization to access this screen.

            The following groups have access to this panel:

 

·      All MEP Staff with access to MIMS

·         Legal Service Agents

 

Helpful Hints:

 

·         This is a view only screen; no updates can be done.

·         This screen can be referenced if a company is operating under another name. (ie: a numbered company.

 

Navigation

Party č Search č Search Results č Hyperlink č Phone/Address History.

 

Procedure:

 

1.       From Screen S13 – Party Search Criteria, search for Organization Party.

2.       On Screen S21 – Maintain Party Organization, select ‘Party Name History’ tab.

3.       The Party Name history is displayed showing all expired organization, legal and alias names.

Party Name History

 

Current Name

The name the organization is known as.

Expired By

MIMS user who discontinued the organization name.

Expired Date

Displays the expiry date of the organization name in YYYY-MM-DD format where Y = year, M = month and D = day.

Legal Name

Alternate name that is used by an organization for legal purposes. Ie: a numbered company

Expired By

MIMS user that discontinues the use of a legal name.

Expiry Date

Displays the expiry date of the legal name in YYYY-MM-DD format where Y = year, M = month and D = day.

Alias Name

A name that a company may use that is not their legal name.

Expired By

MIMS user that discontinues the use of the alias name.

Expiry Date

Displays the expiry date of the alias name in YYYY-MM-DD format where Y = year, M = month and D = day.
